Adopt Change
Adopt Change, a not for profit organisation, believes that every child has a right to grow up in a permanent, loving family and embrace adoption as a positive and important way of forming that family. The PR Hub is proud to represent Adopt Change as its PR, communications and events agency of choice.
Adopt Change was founded by Deborra-lee Furness and incorporates National Adoption Awareness Week, held each November. It first engaged the services of The PR Hub to execute a strategic national public relations campaign during National Adoption Awareness Week, 9-15 November 2014. Following this, The PR Hub has continued to manage public relations and communication for Adopt Change.
The PR Hub has worked on a number of high profile projects including National Adoption Awareness Week, Australian of the Year (Deborra-lee Furness), Adopt Change Fundraising Dinners with Deborrra-lee Furness and Hugh Jackman and the launch of Australia’s first research report into attitudes and perceptions of adoption.
During this time, The PR Hub has managed to secure substantial ongoing public attention including spots on commercial TV, major radio stations and national newspapers both in print and online.
The PR Hub also works with Adopt Change as a government liaison at both federal and state levels.
